The Manzanita Ranch Inc., is a human service agency involvled in using horses as treatment for veterans suffering rom PTSD and/or other disabilities, canncer patients and survivors and at risk youth. We offer our clients a day on the ranch which includes riding the Pacific Crest Trail at no charge. This offer includes a caregiver. Visitors to the ranch learn to bond and work with the horses; some basic horsemnaship; and several hours of riding a trail or trails that match the skill level of the visitors.
