Mission:

MAD/FAD operates Community Centers in areas of need that provide food, clothing, safety, supplemental education, and spiritual growth for children and youth.

MAD/FAD continues to partner with these children as they become teenagers and young adults to mentor them on their mental and spiritual growth. MAD/FAD strives to create opportunities for further education and training to bring these youth into adulthood in a manner that will help them break the cycle of poverty.

MAD/FAD encourages it’s volunteers, sponsors, donors, and employees to become emotionally and spiritually vested in this ministry. We realize that giving is a two way street and that love flows both directions providing incredible blessings to the givers.

Vision:

MAD/FAD exists to come alongside at-risk children, youth, and families in Brazil to provide resources to assist them in breaking the intergenerational cycle of spiritual, emotional, and physical poverty and empower them to become all that God created them to become.

Values:

We are a Christ centered humanitarian organization. It is the teachings of Jesus Christ that are the source of our inspiration to love our neighbor as ourselves.

We care about the individual in poverty more than the issues of poverty. We are focused on loving people. We believe that each of us is called by God to care for children that are living in poverty.

This is a true partnership between MAD Ministries in the US and FAD Ministries in Brazil. The operation of each is governed by a Board of Directors that prayerfully complies with our Statement of Faith, Vision, Mission, and Values. We believe that the operations in Brazil are most effectively managed by Brazilians, with Americans coming alongside as partners to assist the Brazilians in their mission.

We believe that we have a responsibility to treat every dollar that is donated to this organization with the utmost care and responsibility.
