Little Fox River Sporting Clays

Little Fox River Sporting Clays is a shotgun sports facility specializing in various types of clay bird games.  We are on the Iowa/Missouri border near Cantril, Iowa and Memphis, MO.

Sporting Clays is our specialty.  We have 12-16 station course that is changed frequently. We have stands at different elevation levels overlooking a pond, a deep ravine and a large valley.  These stands give many opportunities for a variety of target presentations even before we add the variety of target that can be thrown when we add a mobile tower.  The course has all automatic traps which includes; minis, rabbits and teals.  Since it is all automatic you and your shooting buddy can throw for each other and go as fast or as slow as you want without waiting for a trapper.

Shooting Sporting Clays can be a family event.  The course is a well-kept park like area.  There are benches at each station if you feel the need to rest.  The paths are well marked so people do not stray into danger.  Since the course is automatic, children of the shooter can enjoy participating by pushing the buttons.  Our NSCA Level 1 instructor can work with adults and children alike to help improve your scores or to teach the basics of gun safety.

Since Sporting Clays was developed to simulate hunting situations, quail, pheasant, duck and dove hunters come out to stay tuned up for the hunting seasons.

The 5-Stand is located atop a hill overlooking the course.  There is a 15-foot tower located behind the stations.  The stations overlook the course, timber and pond.  The 5-Stand machines are controlled via wireless remote.  The remote can easily be changed to throw singles or report targets for the novice or true pairs for the more advanced shooter.
