Lineboro Volunteer Fire Department has been in existence for 94 years. It is a small company but it plays a vital role in the community by providing fire, rescue, and medical services. The department was founded by a small group of local townspeople as a method of protection against fire in 1915 but, slowly grew. Lineboro Volunteer Department has over the years expanded in size, equipment and community services for the town of Lineboro and neighboring communities.
