Mission Statement:
Lincoln Middle School is a safe and caring environment providing opportunities for all students to develop socially, physically, and intellectually building a foundation for all students to become responsible citizens.

History:
Lincoln first began as Lincoln Junior High School. Located at Thirteenth Street and Broadway, it shared the facility with Logansport High School. In 1965 the school was moved when the present facility was newly constructed. It continued as a Junior High School with grades seven, eight, and nine until 1973. At that time the new high school opened and the ninth grade transferred to the high school and the sixth grade was moved up from the elementary to form a middle school of sixth, seventh, and eighth grades. It has remained so to the present.

A major addition highlights the physical plant of Lincoln. It was completed in 1991. The renovation saw the addition of a new library, computer room, six classrooms, and new office complex.

Student Population:
The student population of Lincoln numbers 599. Of these, 17% are special education students. About 55% of our students are bussed to school each day. The mobility rate of Lincoln students is average, with 15% of the students either moving in or out each year.
