About Us:

Liberty Baptist Church began in July of 1976 in a hotel in Costa Mesa. By 1978 the growing young church had purchased 12 acres of land in the city of Irvine, and on their third anniversary dedicated their first building.

Two miles away in the city of Newport Beach was a complete church facility. The campus was appraised at several million dollars more than Liberty’s property in Irvine. The Lord miraculously opened the door for Liberty to trade properties with the other church on an "even-swap" basis.
