Sporting clays originated in England, serving as a recreational activity for hunters and outdoorsmen who who preferred less regimented or structured games. A typical round includes 100 targets, shot from 14 – 16 stations.  Each station provides a unique setting with a variety of target presentations that makes the sport both interesting and challenging, time and time again.

Although an entirely different activity, sporting clays does have some similarities to golf. Both require the right stance, a smooth swing, and to score well, the ability to focus and keep your head down. To be a good shot doesn’t take a lot of physical activity, but it does require concentration on each shot.
