About Us:
The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan, grassroots, multiple-issue political organization that encourages informed and active participation of citizens in government. Membership in the League is open to any person who subscribes to the purposes, policies, and principles of the League of Women Voters. The League influences public policy by advocating League policy positions at all levels of government, and by creating opportunities for public discussion. The League strives to empower citizens and to shape better communities worldwide.
