Our history 

Laurel Mountain Baptist Church originally met in a tent near Bruceton Mills, West Virginia before moving to the current location at the former Guthrie School just over the Pennsylvania border. For many years it met in the former school under different pastors including 27 years with Walter "Jim" Hickle. A modern sanctuary and classrooms have been added with the original building now serving as the fellowship hall. This equips Laurel Mountain Baptist Church to honor the traditions of the past while serving the children who are our future. ‹
