The Larue County Fair, Kentucky's oldest continuous running fair (since 1907) and is held around the first week of August. Activities include horse, cattle and poultry shows, beauty contests, a carnival, antique tractor show and parade, and truck and tractor pulls. The LaRue County Fair is hosted by the LaRue County Fair Board.
