It is the vision of The Lampeter United Methodist Church to impact our world by winning people to Jesus Christ then nurturing and equipping them to serve in the world as His witnesses .

Beliefs:
-We believe in the church doctrine:
- We believe in the Bible as the inerrant Word of God, verbally inspired, and the all-sufficient rule of faith and practice.
- We believe in one God, triune, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- We believe in the virgin birth, the resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ, and that He is now present in the power of the Holy Spirit.
- We believe man was created in the image of God, disobeyed God and thereby incurred spiritual death which is separation from God.
- We believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins as a substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who believe in Him are justified on the basis of His blood as the supreme sacrifice.
- We believe in the personal imminent return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
- We believe that all who receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ are born again and thereby become the children of God.
- We believe in the Church as the body of Christ; its mission is to witness concerning its Head, Jesus Christ, by preaching the Gospel among all nations.
- We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the everlasting life of the saved, and the everlasting punishment of the lost.
- We believe in the grace of God to be sufficient for the maintenance of a godly walk and that Christ and not the law is the believer's rule of life.
- We believe that each believer has a responsibility to be a minister of God, "To Make Christ Know" to a world that needs the Gospel!
- We believe that each person has worth and has God-given abilities to offer in ministry and service to God, church, and community.
- We believe that the family has worth and that the church has a responsibility to support, encourage, and guide all members of the family to strengthen their relationships.
- We believe that all people need to be nurtured to enable them to experience a lifetime of growth in their Christian faith.
- We believe that we are called to be a warm and caring church that welcomes everyone.
- We believe that there are opportunities in the community for the congregation to show Christian love through personal sharing and support in order to bring people to Christ.
- We believe that the Church family should be financially responsible for the support of the ministry of the church.
- We believe that the Church is to be a family united by the love of Christ to be an example of unity and love to all.
- We believe that we, as a church, are to call people to repent from sin and turn to godly living
- We believe that every individual has a responsibility to help meet the needs of the local community as well as the greater community of the world.
- We believe that we are called to work cooperatively with other churches and other organizations to meet the needs of the community.
