Our Mission provides financial support to encourage and facilitate innovative projects and programs that enrich the educational experience of students in the Lakeland Central School District.

Twice a year the LEF awards grants for outstanding programs that will enrich the learning of students. Teachers, parents, administrators, students or a combination can apply for one of these grants specfic to their classroom, or a group can apply to develop district-wide programs.

The foundation has awarded over 200,000 in grants ranging from $500 to $5,000 to enrich student learning.

The LEF raises funds for grants through two events each year.  In addition, the Foundation also solicits other foundation and corporate support for general funding and specific programs.
