Kiwanis Club of Port Angeles

The Kiwanis Club of Port Angeles was chartered on July 21, 1921 and is the oldest Kiwanis club on the Peninsula.  Over the years our club has helped sponsor and start four other clubs in three different cities in this area.

We are an organization of service-minded men and women, who give of themselves to make Port Angeles a better community in which to live, raise a family and retire. Our Kiwanis community and service projects are accomplished as our members volunteer their time and talents.

Our motto is, "SERVING THE CHILDREN OF THE WORLD" and we believe that we can achieve greater accomplishments together than as individuals working separately.

We are proud of our long history of involvement with and contributions to our community. The fruits of our labors can be seen in our city parks, the YMCA, the Waterfront Trail, the Dream Playground, playfields and many other projects being enjoyed by the people of Port Angeles.

We also support college-bound high school seniors with educational scholarships, sponsor disabled youth and adults who attend summer camp progams at the Northwest Kiwanis Camp in Port Hadlock, and provide guidance for the Key Club, a leadership and community service program at Port Angeles High School.

We have made, and will continue to make, a difference!
