Kenai Lions Club, located in Kenai, Alaska was founded on the Kenai Peninsula of Alaska. The club was chartered on Jan. 29, 1966 by the Lions club of Anchorage,  with some 28members. In  the early days they meet every Tuesday at the Royal Redoubt now known as the Kenai Merit Inn. We sponsored the formation of the Soldotna Lions Club and later the Cook Inlet Lions Club.

Generally, the Kenai Lions Club will not make donations to individuals or to organizations for specific individuals; for travel, prizes or awards-even if youth groups; for foreign exchange or other such endeavors of individuals. The Club reserves the right to recognize past practices in determining whether or not to fund any particular request.
