The beautiful town of Julian sits high in the Southern California mountains north east of San Diego. A gold rush town known for its scenery and wonderful apples, Julian is also becoming known as a mecca for world class fine artists and talented craftsmen.

The Julian Arts Guild came into existence over 30 years ago.  Its purpose is to bring together artists, artisans, and other interested persons of the community for artistic, professional, and social purposes to stimulate the artistic interests of the community at large.  The Guild provides a vehicle, through sponsored events, for the display and demonstration of works produced by its members.

Over the years the guild has grown into a non-profit organization with four annual art shows, workshops, demonstrations, and speakers at the monthly meetings. The Julian Arts Guild is made up of a diverse group of artists working in many different mediums.
