The mission of Johnsville Church is to make mature disciples out of all people and out of all age groups. The fulfillment of this vision centers around the five purposes of the church – outreach, community, discipleship, service and worship.

Johnsville Church is wholeheartily committed to local outreach. At Johnsville we seek not only to care for the needs of our own members, but the church is committed to ministering to the needs of the community as well. We desire to make our community a better place by spreading the transforming power of the Gospel. At Johnsville Church we believe that children are our future. Therefore, we put a special emphasis on ministering to them.

At Johnsville Church we also place a high priority on developing community. Since we are a smaller church, members are able to get to know one another on a personal level. We try to build stronger families and to be a family to those who need one. At Johnsville Church we seek to have monthly fellowship events (Ice Cream Social, Game Night, Fellowship meals after church) to foster friendships and Christian relationships. Small group prayer cells and Bible studies are also held.

At Johnsville Church we are also committed to discipleship. We strive to create an environment where people from all ages and all levels of spiritual development are able to grow and foster their Christian faith. One of the ways we strive to do this is by encouraging our members to be involved in some type of service. It doesn’t matter if your gifts are great or small, they are important to the body of Christ and our church. We encourage and invite active participation by all who regularly attend.
