About the Jewish Federation
Jewish Federation of Western, CT works to further the welfare and advancement of the Jewish community locally, overseas and in Israel.  In our local community, we work to foster cooperation among local Jewish organizations, raise and distribute money and develop programming for philanthropic, social, cultural, educational and religious purposes.

Brownstein Jewish Family Service provides quality information, assistance and referrals for community-based services to enhance the independence, emotional and physical wellbeing of the most vulnerable members of our community.

The Foundation assists Donors in planning for the best use of their resources for family and charity and uses the Foundation's resources for the future of the Jewish Community.

Jewish Community Center (JCC) The Jewish Community Center of Western, CT provides a warm, friendly atmosphere for health, thought, learning and values. Our mission is to facilitate programs that stimulate mind, body and spirit. We are also proud to be a common meeting ground for all segments of the community regardless of their faith, background or orientation. All are truly welcome at our house.

William and Audrey Walzer Alef Bet Preschool offers a unique Jewish preschool experience for children three to five years of age. The program provides opportunities for children's social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth in a creative learning environment. Alef Bet Preschool's comfortable atmosphere encourages children to interact with each other, learn from one another and explore their individual interests.
