Jerusalem Presbyterian Church

207 West Main Street
262-968-3408

History:

Jerusalem enjoys a rich history, nestled in the heart of the village of Wales in rural Waukesha County, WI. Founded by Welsh-Americans in 1842, we worship in a lovely circa-1912 building that was lovingly restored to its historic beauty in the 1990's.

Today Jerusalem is a church home to a family of faith that spans all age groups. The Welsh-American heritage is still very present in the active membership, but so are Presbyterians of many backgrounds, representing many communities in Waukesha County and beyond.

We seek to be a haven for those who are searching for an inviting and friendly place to worship, learn, and serve God. When you visit us in person, you will be warmly greeted; during coffee hour, you might even discover that you already know someone who worships here!

Jerusalem provides many opportunities for service in the church and in the community. Our Annual Chicken Barbeque and the Donna Lexa Memorial Art Fair are well-known and widely-attended events designed to spotlight our commitment to Waukesha County and southeastern Wisconsin. In addition, they are lots of fun!
