Jasper Junior Commerce Club
About Us :
The Jasper Junior Commerce Club was organized in 2002. The Commerce Club is the first in the state of Missouri to be organized. The Commerce Club was organized by Mike Benward. The first meeting of business was held on May 22, 2002 at Jasper High School. The JJCC has taken trips to Worlds of Fun, Joplin Airfest Show, Snow Creek Ski Area, SDC, and Branson. The JJCC has done many community projects from tearing down old houses, painting old buildings in down town Jasper, garage sales in the city wide sale, and being a part of the Jasper Apperication Days.. You have seen the Jasper Commerce Club on KODE-TV, Carthage Press, Joplin Globe, Lamar Democrat, and heard them on Kissin 92.5, Magic 93.9, Bigdog 97.9, Power 107.1, Rock 105.3 and Country 99.7. The Junior Chamber sells fireworks, operates a spookhouse (Barns on Haunted Hill), sells Krispy Kreme doughnuts, sells candles, sponsors concerts, operates a Teen Center and has community projects to raise money.
