"Our vision is that of a community-based school where the students, staff, parents, and community work together in a collegial manner to foster an excitement for learning."

Belief System

We believe in excellence for all.

We believe that all children can learn.

We believe that success is the basis for high self-esteem which in turn is necessary for student achievement.

We believe that clearly defined expectations, set on a high but achievable level, foster student success.

We believe that a positive school climate is essential and conducive to teaching and learning.

We believe that instruction should be flexible and inclusive based on the best available research and the needs of the student.

We believe that instruction must include higher levels of cognitive activities so that the student can become a lifelong, self-directed learner.

We believe that desired student outcomes can best be achieved through supportive interaction among home, school, and community.
