About Us:

Hunting Creek Preserves 1 & 2 is a  family owned and operated hunting and sporting clays operation. The Renegar Family has owned and operated the land for five generations. In a time when family farms are being turned into housing developments, our hope is to use the land to have a preserve second to none. Having been in the family for five generations; - WE KNOW HOW TO GROW THINGS.

You are invited to hunt where Native Americans once camped and not far from the final resting place of Daniel Boone's parents, Squire and Sarah Boone. The history of Iredell County recounts how in the 1870s hunters frequently traveled in this area to hunt.

You'll be hard pressed to find a more complete hunting and hospitality experience anywhere in the east. Our goal is to provide a safe and enjoyable hunting experience with true Southern Hospitality. Our sporting clays course is second to none, come enjoy an afternoon shoot and then relax on the porch and watch time go by.
