Mission Statement

The corporation offers a central administered program of quality palliative and supportive services which provides physical, psychological, social, spritual and bereavement follow-up care for dying persons, persons with life threatening illnessed and their families in south central Indiana.

How do Volunteers help?

Volunteers bring a special touch to the Hospice team that enhances the quality of care to our patients and families. Volunteers in Hospice find it personally gratifying and emotionally meanifgful to assist thoes in need at a critical point in their lives. It is an opportunity to serve the people in your community by meeting their needs on an individual basis.

Volunteer opportunities

  • Support for patients including visiting, reading, taking walks, writing letters, or bringing in music
  • Running errands for the patient or family
  • Clerical assistance - copying, filing, and answering the phone
  • Computer data entry
  • Supporting fundraising events
  • Various opportunities in the Hospice Inpatient Facility
