High Street United Methodist Church was founded as the West Duxbury Methodist Episcopal Church. In the 1920's the steeple was destroyed in a terrible storm. In 1992, in celebration of the 125th Anniversary, the belfry was rebuilt and the steeple replaced, symbols of our commitment to many more years of service to god in the Duxbury, Pembroke and Kingston area.
