About Us:

HALC is the home of the Hawarden Area Food Pantry, an ecumenical and community supported ministry of providing food for those needing extra help during these challenging economic times. This ministry is supported by the congregations of Hawarden as well as by the businesses and governmental agencies in this community. Supporting congregations include Hawarden Christian Reformed Church, Trinity Lutheran (LCMS), Associated Church of Hawarden, First Baptist, Friendship Assembly of God, Hawarden Community Reformed, Hawarden United Methodist, and St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church.
