Purpose

The purpose of Greencastle Bible Church is to glorify God; teach His Word and the fundamentals of the faith as contained in the Holy Scriptures; provide a place of worship to build the Body of Christ through the edification of individual believers; and present the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Mission

For the glory of God, Greencastle Bible Church is committed to equipping the saints and gathering disciples from all people, so that they might grow up into Christ, worship God and enjoy Him forever.

Vision

Seeking to be a Christ-centered church guided by truth and marked by grace, Greencastle Bible Church desires to fulfill its mission by:

-Teaching the believer to give his life for the glory of God.

-Encouraging believers to exercise spiritual gifts, to maintain the unity of the Spirit and to promote growth within the body of Christ.

-Proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world by evangelism and church planting.

What is a Bible Church?

A Bible church is a group of committed followers of Jesus Christ who are led by spiritually mature men and gather together regularly to worship, study the Bible, and encourage each other. We are not governed by a larger denomination or outside organization, but other like-minded churches in Ohio are able to provide accountability and fellowship for us. Ultimately, our desire is for the authority and sufficiency of the Bible to set the direction and govern every aspect of our lives.
