Green Hills Memorial Park is located on 120 beautifully landscaped acres in Rancho Palos Verdes, about 20 miles south of downtown Los Angeles. With commanding views of the Pacific Ocean, harbor area, Palos Verdes Peninsula and the Los Angeles Civic Center, Green Hills Memorial Park is truly one of the most picturesque settings in the Southland.

No other cemetery in the Los Angeles area offers the beauty and serenity of the Palos Verdes Peninsula. To the natural rolling hills, the park has sculpted and manicured a showpiece for the many varieties of trees, plants, flowers and wildlife found within the grounds. Green Hills Memorial Park first opened to serve the community in 1948. Since then, we have continued to improve our services to meet the ever-increasing and changing needs of the communities we serve. Interment or ground burial is still the most common of all cemetery services. However, few people fully understand what is involved in the interment process.
