The mission of Porter elementary is to provide each student opportunities for the development of intellectual, democratic, moral, and social values in order to become a responsible member of society. We are committed to the academic success of each student and the development of a healthy self-image.

Such success is dependent upon a partnership between the home and the school. While entrusted to us during the day, we will do our best to help your child grow and learn. However, there are expectations to be carried out at home as well. Parents are expected to work with their child to ensure that all assignments are completed in a timely manner.
