Mission

We SERVE! Our emphasis is preservation and promotion of eyesight issues in our local community, state, nation and worldwide. We have also contributed to LCIF who has donated funds to Japan in the wake of the tsunami and to the fire victims in Texas. LCIF has joined with the Gates Foundation to irradicate measles in 3rd world countries.

We belong to the largest service organization in the world, Lions International.

Meetings are currently held at 12 noon on the second and fourth Wednesdays, at the Central Maintenance Facility 3151 SE Inner Loop in Georgetown. E/M Carol at corky.girl@ live.com to let us know you would like to come for lunch and meet the members. Take 29 east to SE Inner Loop, turn right and the facility is about 1/2 mile on the right. Take the second drive and enter through the side entrance. Board Meetings will remain at the VFW at noon on the third Wed. of the month.
