Mission:

Generations is a church fully committed to the Great Commandment and the Great Commission.  Our mission is "to reach, teach, equip and send people for Jesus Christ." This mission will be accomplished through the following avenues:

Prayer. Prayer is the cornerstone and foundation upon which Generations is built. All ministries that take place will take place while prayer is being offered to God, before, during and after. It is God who brings results to any ministry effort and a strong dependence upon Him through prayer will always be evident.

Preaching, Teaching, and Discipleship. The Word of God will always be preached and taught boldly from the pulpit in a way that stirs people to action and change. We will never dilute the Word of God, for it is the power of God unto salvation for all who believe. The Lord commanded us to make disciples of all people. We believe that discipleship begins the moment an individual makes a decision to follow Jesus and continues to their last day. We will have a program of intense discipleship in place and available at all times.

Worship. We believe that worship should be given in such a way that God is lifted up and that people are drawn to Him. Our worship is Spirit filled and spontaneous with the focus always upon Jesus. Man shall never be glorified in our worship.

Fellowship. We believe in the coming together of the saints for Godly fellowship. This is what will develop Godly relationships and draw people to Jesus. The love we display is that which will attract non-believing people to a relationship with the Redeemer. "Show me a redeemed life, and I will believe in your redeemer." - Voltaire

Missions and Evangelism. God has called each of us to go forth into all the world and preach the Gospel. We are about this effort continuously, believing God for the results and His promise that His Word never comes back void. This will be accomplished through local outreach, short term missions, and supporting full time missions work.
