Gardens Elementary School

1076 6th Street
810-364-7141

The Gardens Elementary School, in cooperation with the community, will provide all students with learning experiences in a safe and caring environment that supports, encourages, and challenges their social, emotional, physical, and academic growth while promoting life-long learning and responsible citizenship."

Gardens Elementary School is a wonderful place to learn for Young Fives through Fifth grade students. Located in the northwestern corner in the city of Marysville, our school is surrounded by residential homes and community churches. Flowerbeds planted by our students gently landscape the school grounds. The large playgrounds for both upper and lower elementary grades give our students room to enjoy outdoor activities. Our courtyard boasts special theme created flowerbeds around our school greenhouse.

Currently, we have 500 students enrolled in 20 classrooms at Gardens School. Besides receiving a strong classroom instructional program, our students receive specialized instruction in art, music, band, physical education and health, and technology. Special Education resource rooms and Math and Reading Support Services are available to eligible students. School social work services are also available. As a North Central Accredited school, we strive to maintain a quality educational program for all our students.

Although Gardens School is a large school, we are a friendly, family-oriented school. Parent support is great. Volunteers are helpful with assistance in classroom, at after school activities, and during classroom field trips. Fall parent conference attendance continually ranks near 100% each year. Parents are active with P.T.O. activities and through our Parent Advisory (PAC). We are fortunate to have parents who value the educationally process and respond in many positive ways.
