Mission
Founded on the conviction that creativity forms the vital spirit of public and personal growth, the Deep Listening Institute fosters the creation of innovative art and associated technologies, and cultivates a global perspective in the arts and education through the practice of Deep Listening.

Deep Listening is a philosophy and practice developed by Pauline Oliveros that distinguishes the difference between the involuntary nature of hearing and the voluntary selective nature of listening.
