Welcome to Franconia Elementary School, Souderton Area School District’s second largest elementary school, with a capacity of 625 students. Franconia School has proudly served the Franconia area since 1941. A rich tradition of seeking to meet the needs of the whole child is made possible by the spirit of community that exists among its devoted staff, involved parents, helpful volunteers and most importantly, hard working students.

Helping our students become life-long learners is a goal that is assisted by instilling the desire to learn. Reading and writing workshops, literature circles, hands-on science and mathematics and inquiry-based social studies are key components of our program which provide our students with opportunities to demonstrate the competencies needed to contribute and to succeed in a changing.
