Our Beliefs

Fountain Valley United Methodist Church is an evangelical and historically Wesleyan community of faith, holding to the historic, orthodox Protestant doctrines of the Christian faith.

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, divinely inspired guide for both faith and practice.

As a United Methodist Congregation, we also stand by the doctrinal statements of our denomination which we believe to be in agreement with God’s Word found in Scripture.

Our Vision

Through the years, the church has seen its purpose expand. Initially, our vision was to be “A Bible Teaching Church for All Ages.” Through that vision, and focusing on the Bible, we have come to envision ourselves as “A Biblical Family of Joyful Servants, Sharing the Love of God in a Broken World.”
