Footsteps to the Future is a non-profit in SW Fl serving young women in and aged out of foster care in Lee and Collier Counties.

We are a unique, one on one; evidence based mentoring and tutoring program for these young women who thru no fault of their own have become Foster Children. 

Our focus includes: Academic Achievement, Job Readiness, and Self-Sufficiency with the goal of our young women becoming productive, contributing members of the Community.

Many of our young women have been human trafficked, physically and sexually abused .Footsteps to the Future gives them love, hope and guides them toward a brighter future. Over the past 13 years many young women have had life changing opportunities and have made remarkable progress. We are their mentors, tutors and friends. We constantly advocate for them and model positive attitudes and behavior. Realizing it ...takes a Village to raise a child...We have become their big loving family, they have become college graduates, values employees in work place. Homeowners and strong positive mothers. We are their cheerleaders...they are our inspiration.

Footsteps to the Future is not funded by any government agencies or the

United Way

. We rely on small grants, private individual and corporate donations to keep our programs going About 90% of our funds go directly to the programs and the young women in our organization.
