Five Oaks Farm
We are offering full and half shares for the 2011 Summer Season. We have approximately 80 different varieties of vegetables, fresh herbs and fruits. Our projected harvest brings you what we grow here through the season, fresh off the farm. We select many heirloom varieties and organic seed and plants where available. We also look for new tastes and varieties each year to keep things intresting.
Additional options to compliment the CSA share are bi-weekly egg shares, Weekly fresh bread and Cheese shares.We are also offering a Winter Share, which will start late October and run into December. There will be four bi-weekly harvests, and fresh eggs are included in the Winter Share. Call for details.We can also be found at the Omro and Green Lake Markets. Both are Friday evenings, and weekly shares can be collected at these markets.. Farm pick up is always welcome. Bring the kids and have them feed the chickens.
We use organic practices to bring you fresh, great tasting food. Our season runs from early from June into October. We have approximately 80 varieties of fruits, vegetables and herbs available throughout the season. We are also offer a bi-weekly egg shares and Fresh Bread shares, and new for 2011 a bi weekly fresh Cheese share as add on options.
In the fall of 2010 we kicked off our bi weekly winter share. Starting in late October and running into December we are growing selected late season crops and fresh greens. Fresh eggs are included in the winter share program.At the end of the season we host a free harvest fest with good eats and pumpkin picking for the kids.
