​First UMC of Greenwich is a community of Christian faith, diverse in age, gender, traditions, ethnicities and cultural and religious backgrounds.

The heart and soul of the congregation is best expressed in the many caring ministries performed in Christ's name - from local to international.  First UMC of Greenwich actively seeks to meet the needs of others, providing for spiritual and physical needs through food drives for Neighbor to Neighbor; collections for disaster relief; book donations for homeless shelters; gift boxes for overseas military personnel; short-term mission trips and more.
