First Southern Baptist Church Junction City is located in the heart of Kansas.  Geary County is known for having a small-town atmosphere with big city amenities and rural pleasures.   Geary County is ideal for you and your family.  It is our tradition at FSBC to continue this family atmosphere in our church home.

We strive to make a difference in our community and reach out spiritually, physically, and emotionally to our neighbors.  FSBC was founded in 1954 and continues to serve the surrounding communities.  We are strongly influenced by the military as Fort Riley, home of the Big Red One, is one of our treasured neighbors.  We take great pride in our soldiers! We are also enriched by the Chapman, Milford, Ogden, Dwight, and White City communities.  

Our purpose statement is:  “To exalt Christ thru equipping believers for ministry, teaching them to encourage one another, and engaging members in a life of service and evangelism.”
