The First Presbyterian Church of Minonk, Illinois was organized May 3rd,1857, eight years before the town of Minonk was officially organized. The existing Church is unique in that if has not had any significant architectural alterations since being built. The interior is adorned with large Greek columns, stained glass windows and a massive glass dome, as well as a large antique pipe organ which is still used during worship.
