The mission of First Mennonite Church is to welcome all to know Christ's salvation through worship and works of love, peace, and justice in service for God.
Not the conservative, rural membership that one associates with our spiritual cousins, the Amish, Mennonites are deeply involved in efforts for peacemaking and social justice. We hope that you may use the information on our website to become acquainted with us, and perhaps also find some resources to help strengthen your own faith. In a very real sense, the work of the Church is Missions - how we respond to others in physical or spiritual need. Other pages on this site look at our community involvement in the Trease Road Child Care and in the MENWA senior apartments, and give links to such places as Mennonite Disaster Service and MCC, which describe our participation in the family of Mennonite Churches. We welcome you to our regular Sunday morning sevices at 10:45 AM, preceded by discussion groups at 9:30.
