Beliefs:

It is important to know what beliefs are held by a church because all churches are not alike.  First Baptist Church diligently studies God’s Word and listens to His voice to know what we should be doing and where we should be going.  However, there are certain beliefs (doctrines) that the Bible clearly teaches that withstand the test of time.  A description of those we have publicly affirmed (as stated in our church’s Constitution and By-laws) followed by several scripture references that explain them further.
