The Microfarm CSA has focused increasingly on our two specialty niches -- eco-grown Winter Vegetables and eco-grown Fruit but we also include many summer veggies, herbs and cutflowers. Our Winter CSA offers fresh produce ALL WINTER LONG (Oct to May, pickups twice a month) . That includes over 2 dozen root crops & hardy greens, from the root cellar and freshly dug from the field, winter squashes and pumpkins, potted greens kept fresh in the root cellar, plus fresh baby greens from the winter hoophouse.

Our berry patches and farflung orchard produce a RANGE OF FRUIT typical to our region. The fruit includes Strawberries, Rhubarb, Sweet Cherries, Sour Cherries, Red Raspberries, Purple Raspberries, Black Raspberries, Green Grapes, Concord Grapes, Apples, Pears, and plus red and golden Fall Raspberries. (This year our Peaches, Plums an Blackberries will be in short supply or absent.)

Gardens and orchards are scattered across Monroe County. You pick your food up on Merchants Rd. in Rochester.

We are experimenting this year with a system to offer you only the produce you want in roughly the quantities you want.

You may also request to be placed on the list to be notified when specific surplus Fruit or Winter Veggies become available. This is a small operation, with personalized attention. 288-1073
