"Families on the Spectrum" is a new local non-profit group of exactly what our name suggests...families on the autism spectrum.  It is our goal to provide fun family outings, meetings, parents' nights out, and to offer community support for our autism families. Our focus is on fun AND families in the hopes of building connections and life long bonds with other autism families in Western KY. 

We are truly passionate about our group. We understand that after many families receive an autism diagnosis, their path may become overwhelming, confusing, lonely, and stressful. We are here to offer support, resources, and acceptance in an understanding environment to all ages, from child to adult. Our desire to help one another is why we offer monthly meetings in a wide range of topics, Dad's Day Out, Mom's Night Out, sibling workshops and much more. Autism is a daily struggle for many families and having a support system is a large part of "making it" through the world of autism. We may not all agree on a cause or a treatment plan, but we hope that we can ALL agree that we need each other!

We have big plans for the future of this group and we know the sky is the limit! Since the group was formed in July 2013,
