Mission
The mission of Fairyland School is to provide instruction that challenges students to attain core knowledge and build strong character in order to achieve their highest potential. A variety of educational experiences will be delivered in a safe, nurturing environment while promoting the importance of life long learning.  
Vision
The Fairyland Elementary faculty and staff will use the mission and beliefs and the Georgia Performance Standards as a guide to improve instruction.  Current research and best practices will be used to assess and address individual learning by providing support for a wide range of academic needs.  We are dedicated to engaging all stakeholders in building an understanding of the mission, vision and beliefs.  

About

Fairyland Elementary is a high-performing school located on Lookout Mountain that was established in 1931. The school serves students in grades Pre K through 5 and has a strong tradition of academic excellence. The school has been recognized by the state of Georgia as being one of the top 1% of Pre K – 5th grade elementary schools as indicated by their CCRPI School Scores.

Strong parental support and fierce loyalty to the school gives it an esteemed position in the community. One of the strengths of the school is the level of parental involvement and support. The PTO is strong and boasts high attendance at all school functions. Organized fund raising efforts result in PTO funding of crucial staffing positions and programs above the system offerings.
