Beliefs :

Jesus is at the core of our beliefs and and everything is focused on him. We believe that according to the Bible, Jesus was the son of God who was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, and lived a perfect sinless life. Jesus' life was filled with healing and blessing others, teaching the Scriptures, and many good works but his ultimate purpose for being born was to die a terrible death on the cross in our place in order to redeem all of mankind (past, present, and future) so that we might have the opportunity to have eternal life in heaven and have restored fellowship with God the Father. After his death, God resurrected (brought back to life) Jesus and he returned to heaven to be with the Father. To the Christian, Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega (Revelation 22:13), the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). According to the Bible, Jesus is not one way to God but the ONLY way to God (John 14:6). In this site, we will often use "Christ" to refer to Jesus as it is one of his many titles.
