Evesham Township is located in Burlington County, NJ and includes a mix of residential and commercial/retail properties, along with a large area of wild land urban interface. Our township is located in Southern NJ, on the borders of Burlington and Camden Counties, and encompasses 30 square miles. Our mutual aid districts for Fire and Emergency Medical Services (EMS), include Medford and Mount Laurel in Burlington County, along with Cherry Hill, Voorhees, Waterford and Berlin in Camden County.

Our department is a combination career/volunteer agency that delivers both Fire and EMS services to a rapidly growing community of over 44,000 residents. Our two major roadways that bring heavy truck, bus, and commuter traffic are State Highway Routes 73 and 70.

We currently have 37 career personnel including our Chief, one Assistant Chief, three Deputy Chiefs, one Captain, five Lieutenants, twenty seven Firefighter/EMT's. The majority of our career personnel carry the additional title of Fire Inspector and perform inspection duties in our Fire Prevention Division. In addition, we have one non-uniformed business administrator, one IT professional, and two full-time clerical support personnel. One works in our Fire Administration Office, located in the Evesham Township Municipal Building. The other administrative assistant works out of Station 221/229, located on E. Main St., Marlton, NJ. Our Fire Administration Office is home to our Division of Fire Prevention and also provides extensive support to the operations of the Fire Department and Board of Fire Commissioners.
