Emanuel Reformed Church

4234 Green Camp Essex Rd
740-361-0461

The roots of Emanuel can be traced back to Germany. In 1850, immigrants who lived in Green Camp Township, began to worship in their homes. In 1866, the worshippers built their first house of worship from logs from the farm of John Zieg. This historic past is still with us being reconstructed in 1992. This Old Log Church keeps us ever mindful of the future as we worship and serve Christ Jesus.

We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of Jesus, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, and His atoning death on the cross to save mankind, and His resurrection from the dead and ascension to heaven where He sits at the right hand of God. We believe that for salvation of the lost, regeneration is essential.
