Elkins Park School sits on a 10-acre campus and serves approximately 700 children from the Cheltenham, Glenside, Myers and Wyncote school communities.  Built in 1954, the 2-story building was enlarged with a new wing in 1991.  The facility consists of a main office complex, 50 classrooms, a library, cafeteria, gymnasium, conference rooms, health suite, auditorium, and computer labs.  The building is completely handicapped accessible.  Decorated classroom windows and student art work displayed in the lobby welcome visitors and highlight the student-centered focus of our school.  In the lobby is a ceramic mural designed and created by Elkins Park students.  The mural depicts student life, activities and diversity at Elkins Park. 

Elkins Park takes pride in its safe and secure environment for all students and staff membes.  Our formal discipline plan encourages a proactive approach by all staff members, and focuses on building community through postitive interactions.  Students who break rules are treated fairly and consistently.  Our school is a drug, alcohol and tobacco free school.
