Elim Evangelical Free Church

9421 128th St E, Puyallup, WA 98374

Located at the northeast corner of 94th Ave & 128th St on South Hill, historic Elim Evangelical Free Church is one of the first churches in the Evangelical Free denomination to be founded in the USA during the 1800s.

Despite these deep roots in the community, Elim is also a warm, personable, friendly church of medium size which is growing and which enjoys a relevant, contemporary "blended" worship style.

The church's pastor for more than a decade, Rev. Martin Schlomer preaches from the Bible during worship services each Sunday. There are programs for children, youth, college/career, and adults of all ages.

The name "Elim" comes from Exodus 15:27: "They came to Elim where there were 12 springs of water and 70 palm trees. They set up camp there by the water." Elim was a place of refreshment and renewal for the children of Israel during their journey from captivity to the Promised Land.

Likewise, our goal is for Elim to be "an oasis for renewal with God and one another."
