The purpose of the El Cerrito Middle School Professional Learning Community is to educate and support all students in an energetic and enriching environment where each student "soars" to their highest potential.

Our vision is to be an exemplary school. We strive to become lifelong learners enriched with the involvement of parents, students, educators and the community. Our learners are held to rigorous academic and behavioral expectations, through which each student will achieve mastery of the State standards and become well-rounded individuals. Our students are provided with opportunities to experience the arts and technology, to celebrate diversity, and to learn skills that make them healthy and productive members of society.
