The Church of Christ at 900 Early Blvd. began in 1947 when the Boyd's Chapel congregation consolidated with the Early congreation that was then meeting in the Early School Auditorium. E.L. Green was the first minister of the combined congregation.

the church building has gone through several major changes. It started with a small white building at the front of the church property near the coner of Early Blvd. and Trailer Drive. Additions were added throughout the years, such as classrooms and a foyer.

The present day building was built in 1977 and has also had many additions throughout the years.
